Exigent: is a solar storage technology company. Its thermal energy storage system is designed to work directly with Concentrated Solar Thermal (CST) collectors and provide up to 48 hours of operation without sun. Business: Exigent’s tech is an enabling technology, it makes MW scale 24hr solar practical and cost effective. ESS tech will be included in all of Focal Line Solar’s projects. The inclusion of energy storage increases solar collector demand by 2 to 3x. Exigent’s Matrix Storage system sells with a profit margin 50% to 75%, which is practical due to multiple innovations.
