Founded in 1988, Exotic Group is a family-owned business, mainly recognised in Mauritius for its expertise of serigraphy printing on fabrics. Its main activity centered around the production of clothes for international and local markets. True to its essence, the group launched in 2005 its flagship brand, BODY & SOUL, with fashionable clothes to dress up the Mauritian population. The brand introduced its own collection and has become a prominent figure of the Mauritian Fashion Era through the years. Today, the group carries out its own distribution and the brand has grown up in goodwill and trustworthiness.
Always committed to satisfy the market demand in wide range of fashion clothes, the brand ISLAND HAZE pops in 2008. Colourful, urban and street, the dynamic brand has well been positioned in the Mauritian market. Its launching slogan was ‘young, wild and free’, today this clothing brand is well anchored in the heart of every Mauritian.
In 2011, the group widen its scope of public reach and welcomed the international brands QUIKSILVER, ROXY and DC SHOES, for which it is the official representative in Mauritius.
Last but not least, Exotic Group in 2016 reinvented the shopping era by integrating coffee lifestyle. The group launched the first coffee shop of Artisan Coffee in a Body & Soul retail outlet in Port Louis. The concept is simple: have a good time and a good coffee while shopping. This concept in Mauritius has rejuvenated the Mauritian shopping age.
In 2018, the group celebrated its 30 years and has revamped its logo. The new colours of the group are the black and orange which represent the creativity, passion, energy & elegance.
