Until now, options for hammertoe fixation haven't been ideal. Simply fusing the joint with a K-wire alone is fast but often not effective. Intramedullary fixation, on the other hand, is time-consuming, complex, and expense. ExoToe offers a new option! It's the first extramedullary device of its kind. ExoToe is just 0.6mm thin and it preserves the bony canal. Intended Use: ExoToe Staple is intended for fracture and osteotomy fixation and joint arthrodesis of the foot in conjunction with K-wire fixation.
