Experience Newquay is a two-year project that aims to encourage a resilient year-round visitor economy. Putting a spotlight on the low season and embracing Newquay’s unique identity, the project supports Newquay’s visitor economy in four key areas; training and support, curation of a cultural offer, marketing and evaluation of impacts. Designed to attract an even flow of local and national visitors who sustainably engage with the town throughout the year.
It is brought to you by Cornwall Council in collaboration with Love Newquay, Visit Newquay and Visit Cornwall.
Experience Newquay has been awarded £365,426 from Good Growth (Shared Prosperity Fund), which is match funded by Cornwall Council’s Town Centre Revitalisation Fund. It follows a successful pilot in West Cornwall. The project launched in June 2023 and will run until March 2025.
