She has been trained successively under several world-renowned pioneers of natural products (Prof. Xinsheng Yao in China, Prof. Rudolf Bauer in Germany, Prof. Koji Nakanish, Prof. Norman Farnsworth, and Prof. John Pezzuto in the USA). She taught Natural Product Chemistry, Modern Nutrition, Modern Pharmacology, Nutrition of Chinese Medicine and Chinese Materia Medica in colleges in China and the USA.
