Explorer Development Center (EDC) seeks to deliver services to individuals and families based on their needs, abilities, and resources. We strive to ensure that our services are timely, appropriate, respectful, and sensitive to age, culture, language, and physical ability of the individuals. EDC is dedicated to explore the best practices, methods, and techniques that will benefit each individual and help them lead the most productive and fulfilling lives possible. EDC offers assessments and evidenced based treatment to individuals and families with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Our clinical team will design and carry out individualized, comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and multidisciplinary goals and treatment plans for each child and family. Services will be conducted in child’s natural environment with a 1:1 ratio. In addition, program supervision/parent support meetings may be conducted via telehealth using HIPAA compliant televideo technology. We currently serve San Diego and Imperial County.
