The implementation of the idea for substantial and comprehensive Roadside Assistance began in 1975 in Thessaloniki, by the then newly founded EXPRESS SERVICE. It quickly developed into the largest & most reliable Roadside Assistance company in Greece which won the trust and appreciation of drivers.
From the very first stages of its development, EXPRESS SERVICE stood out, both for the quality of its services and for its special sensitivity in dealing with the driver and fellow passengers.
This combination differentiated it from other companies and very quickly brought it to first place, which it deservedly maintains until today.
This long-term pioneering presence of EXPRESS SERVICE translates into a lot of effort and continuous effort to cover both the needs of roadside assistance and the demands of subscribers.
Guided by the company’s philosophy, “for the car and the people”, innovations were made, which were a milestone in the company’s path and became an example to follow.
EXPRESS SERVICE was the first to combine Roadside Assistance and Technical Inspection, essentially contributing to their establishment and implementation in Greece.
It is also worth underlining, that EXPRESS SERVICE was the first company in EUROPE, which in 1977 overturned, with the introduction of the helicopter, the up to then system of offering services in the field of roadside assistance, thus establishing aerial roadside assistance. This was a tangible proof of the sensitivity of the Organization for the Car and the Man.
Today EXPRESS SERVICE, always in the context of its pioneering presence in the field of Roadside Assistance, creates the first KTEO-type technical control centers that operate in Greece. With the slogan LESS ACCIDENTS – MORE OXYGEN, it calls on all drivers to fulfill their own debt for safer road behavior and the least possible pollution of the atmosphere from exhaust gases.
