Expression Neuroscience Institute

The Expression Neuroscience Institute (ENI) is a Gen Z–led nonprofit research organization committed to democratizing neuroscience. We design and develop open-source, affordable diagnostic tools that prioritize accessibility, transparency, and real-world impact. Our current flagship project is the Insight Diagnostic Platform—a VR-based tool for measuring binocular vision dysfunction (BVD) using eye tracking and immersive calibration environments. Built with libraries and community clinics in mind, Insight aims to make advanced diagnostics available to everyone—not just those who can afford it. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and actively building partnerships across research, healthcare, and education. Our mission: empower the next generation to do good through science, and create tools that serve people, not profit.
