Founded 60 years ago, in December 1964 by Gerard Cassegrain to support the local logging industry that was flourishing in the Hastings area at the time and it wasn't until the early 1980's that the business started to diversify into the general earthmoving and mining industries.
Today, Expressway Spares are one of the southern hemisphere's largest independent distributors and purchasers of new and used parts suitable for Caterpillar and Hitachi equipment.
We serve the heavy earthmoving and mining industries as well as the civil and construction sectors. Our customers range from Tier 1 mining companies to single machine owner/operators.
Our Head Office is located in Wauchope NSW with Branches in four key mining locations - Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Mackay in Queensland, Perth in Western Australia and Gunnedah, New South Wales.
We currently have over 380 experienced staff that are committed to keeping your machine working to minimise downtime with the supply of quality parts and service.
Our workshops services include component rebuild centres, 2,500hp engine dynamometer, transmission dynamometer, fuel injection rebuild room, turbo rebuild room, cylinder head rebuild station, engineering and machine shop, hydraulic cylinder benches and also offer offsite repairs and field service.
At Expressway Spares we offer a comprehensive range of dispatch services including general transport, road express air express, sea freight and emergency freight options to our local and international customers.
