Extra Transportation was founded by John 'Rusty' Russell in 1994. Deborah Russell joined the team in 2003. Together, Rusty and Deborah built Extra Transportation & Logistics, Inc. Rusty previously worked with a family business that was owned by his father, "Russell's Trailer Repair." He worked there for 25 years and was taught the value of hard work and dedication for his company. Rusty developed the idea to start Extra Transportation & Logistics, Inc. when he was working with his father. Outside requests came in for moving trailers around Indiana and surrounding states. While building the company throughout the past decade, Rusty has created a positive atmosphere for the employees and customers, along with the idea of enforcing teamwork in the workplace. Every member of the team helps one another and stays focused until the job gets done. Due to Extra Transportation being a smaller company, we are a company that values the opinions of others. It is a highly recommended company through word of mouth through existing customers.
