EXTRACT EU Project

A distributed data-mining software platform for EXTReme data ACross the compute conTinuum EU-funded project working to deliver a data-driven open-source software platform integrating the most relevant technologies to facilitate the development of trustworthy, accurate, fair and green data mining workflows able to generate high-quality and actionable knowledge. EXTRACT will integrate multiple computing technologies from edge to cloud to HPC into a unified and secure compute continuum. The platform will feature enhanced data infrastructures and AI & big-data frameworks, novel data-driven orchestration and distributed monitoring mechanisms, a unified continuum abstraction and cyversecurity and digital privacy across all software layers. Two use-cases about with different extreme requirements will be used to validate the EXTRACT platform: 1)Personalized Evacuation Route service in Venice, Italy 2) Transient Astrophyscis with a SKA pathfinder #data mining #real-time data analytics
