Why now?... With the rush of VC money into low Customer Acquisition Cost companies that embrace freemiums, lead generation, and accurate CRMs, the stakes have never been greater. Boards of Directors exert extreme pressure on Executive teams which thus results in, yep you guessed it, ultimately more pressure down to the salespeople to hit higher numbers. And don't forget, all while accurately forecasting "THE NUMBER." With all the factors out there that are beyond a salesperson's control, it would really take a mathematician to always get it right...And salespeople can't do math, that's why they are in sales.
