exVentus

exVentus is a new company operating in Canada which specializes in the disposal of wind turbine blades and the commercialization of fibreglass recycling. Currently exVentus is available to offer a solution anywhere in Canada to take the turbine blade from the pad to be disposed. While there is currently no perfect solution to large scale reinforced plastics recycling in Canada exVentus is investing considerably through academic and industry partnerships to create various solutions to reduce the environmental impact through fibreglass disposal. exVentus has the goal that within two years the blades will serve as a valuable component in concrete mixes. Until this goal is reach exVentus is working towards the more immediate goal of valorizing the fibreglass in cement processing.
