아이스크림 스튜디오(주)는 2006년 CGI서비스 업체로 출발하여 TV CF, High Quality CGI Animation과 전시영상 등의 높은 수준의 기술이 요구되는 시장에서 KT, Oracle, Marvel Entertainment, 투니버스 등 국내,외 유명 클라이언트들을 대상으로 다양한 작업들을 완수하며 기술력과 기획력을 축적하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 2010년부터 독창적이고 개성있는 애니메이션 콘텐츠들을 개발하고 있습니다. 이 중 첫 번째 프로젝트 ‘도토리 탐정 아키’의 우수성을 인정받아 광주 정보문화산업진흥원의 지원사업으로 선정 되면서 광주로 사업체를 이전한 뒤 다양한 지원을 받으며 프리프로덕션을 진행, 다양한 국내외 메이저 마켓에 참가하여, 2011년 SPP Project Competition에서 영국BBC와 디즈니채널, EBS등의 심사위원들 앞에서 전세계의 프로젝트들과 경쟁, ‘Best Technology Award’를 수상하는 등의 성과를 거두고 있으며, 2012년부터 본편제작, 2014년 방영을 목표로 캐나다의 유명업체와 MOU체결하에 공동제작 협의가 진행 중에 있습니다. 다른 한 편으로는, EBS와의 공동개발 프로젝트 ‘두다다다쿵’이 진행중이며 2012년 봄에 파일럿 에피소드 1편을 제작/방영후, 현재 2013년 하반기 방영을 목표로 본편 (10분X26편) 제작을 진행하고 있습니다. 이렇듯 오랜 시간 쌓아온 기술력과 노하우를 바탕으로 TV애니메이션 컨텐츠 시장에 뛰어들어 2년여 만에 괄목할만한 성과를 내고 있는 EYESCREAM STUDIO는 향후 지속적인 컨텐츠 개발과 보유 컨텐츠의 다양한 OSMU 사업화를 통해 점진적으로 글로벌 네트워크를 확대하고 안정된 수입기반을 구축을 목표로 노력하고 있습니다.
