Emirates Youth Platform

The Emirates Youth Platform was co-founded by three students, each from a different school in the United Arab Emirates, who noticed that there was a lack of a platform where students in the UAE could further share and discuss their ideas on a national scale. It is their belief that there is an absence of forums for the youth of today, a forum for students to collaborate and communicate with the rest of the community. In the last few months, the COVID-19 pandemic has made it clear that this is more urgent than ever, with it being imperative to find a solution that can fill this void. Therefore, they have decided to open a national level platform for students to come together during these unprecedented times and express their ideas freely - The Emirates Youth Platform - a student-led organization aimed at promoting conversation and collaboration among students within the UAE. The EYP's first event is an in-person, live event where they will be providing students with a stage to voice their opinions and discuss global issues. The event is called Ctrl Alt Delete - A Fresh Start and it will be hosted at the GEMS Modern Academy Auditorium for which students can apply either as speakers or panellists to participate and share their ideas with the greater community.
