F-Select GmbH

The F-Select GmbH was founded 2015 as a spin-off of the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, one of the leading elite universities in Germany. Our expertise covers the field of fluorinating agents and fluorinated building blocks for the use in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industry, as well as the production and development of high-tech compounds for material sciences and semiconductor applications. We are focused to use innovative production methods and special developed synthesis strategies and production equipment in order to provide our customers with high quality compounds, while maintaining the highest possible resource efficiency. We were nominated and among the winners of the 2016 “Bayerischer Gründerpreis” (Bavarian award for an exceptional startup company) for our energy efficient production, which is optimized to reduce any environmental impact, due to our outstanding knowhow in fluorine chemistry. In 2017 we moved to our new production and research site. The new building offers modern laboratories with state-of-the-art infrastructure as well as a redundancy framework for process critical applications.
