F.O.R.S.

FORS is a professional organization providing services to clients who have acquired brain injury due to accident. We provide Therapy Support Services as well as Social Work Services. At FORS, we place a strong emphasis on culturally-sensitive rehabilitation services, and our staff are well-equipped to meet the needs of a diverse range of backgrounds. FORS provides Therapy Support Services in virtually all languages, and we offer Social Work Services in up to 18 languages, including Arabic, Cantonese, English, Farsi, French, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish, Tamil, Urdu, Vietnamese and more. SERVICES OFFERED Occupational Therapy: Occupational therapist working with clients of different cultures and languages. Social Work and Counseling: While speaking the client’s language and understanding their culture Social works provide counselling and support to individuals and families to adjust with the changes caused by brain injury. Rehabilitation Support Services: Implementation of treatment plans recommended by PT, OT, SW and other professionals involved. Personal Support Worker: Personal support workers are responsible for attendant care and housekeeping of MVA client’s while speaking the clients language. School and Community: Extra support and coaching to facilitate reintegration and tutoring.
