Faansala is a student-led summer program initiated to bridge the gap between education, employment, and accessibility. We do this by offering active and passive mode of skill-learning spaces and equipping learners with resources to find internships.
The literal meaning of the word Faansala is "gap" and we named this project "faansala" to acknowledge and accept that this exists, where some segments of society are affected more than others, but everyone is affected! For some of us, our inability to do something we desire is due to a variety of systemic issues that contribute to the prevalence of the cycle of drop in higher education, unemployment, and poverty and not because of lack of effort, intelligence and will to learn.
