Established in 1973, FAANT's objective is to promote, honour and share the Filipino culture in the Territory. We host major cultural events at the Filipino Community Centre in Marrara that attract up to 3000 people. Over the years, FAANT has contributed to countless programs and events in the Territory. FAANT has led the voluntary efforts of many Filipinos in our community to support major events such as the Arafura Games, World Solar Challenge and
Kakadu Maritime Exercise amongst others. In addition, FAANT is the pillar of information of the Filipinos in Darwin especially for the new arrivals. We have teamed up with local businesses to ensure support to the members of the community is continuous, rigorous and prompt.
