FACES Pakistan - the Formation, Awareness, and Community Empowerment Society is a non-profit organization which aims to empower the underprivileged in society and help them embrace differences in religion and culture through cross-cultural dialogue in order to facilitate collective action for sustainable development. We focus on capacity building and advocating the views of the underrepresented sectors, particularly in mixed religion communities, to achieve the broader aim of harmony, social justice and gender equality.
The activities of FACES Pakistan are directed by an underlying theme of peace-building and fostering coexistence. We collaborate with various private institutions and government bodies in order to maximize our reach and better the lives of as many as we can. Our diversified range of projects
attempt to enhance the lives of children, youth and women in different localities across Pakistan by filling the gap in social service left by the frail local political and social systems. Moreover we take initiatives to aid in the uplift of disaster struck areas and work towards capacity building of the disaster management structure. The plights of the marginalized individuals are brought to attention and addressed through organizing activities, conferences, workshops and advocacy.
