Factory 3 Makerspace

More than just a space for equipment and tools, Factory 3’s mission is to empower both novices and specialists to explore new skills, unleash their creative abilities, and practice entrepreneurial leadership. What drives this innovative makerspace is just that - community. Factory 3 was designed not only to provide an affordable work space, but to incubate a culture of inclusivity and creative generosity that encourages a variety of practices and ideas. Since opening on October 1, 2019, Factory 3 has welcomed 16 new members, each of whom brings their unique skills and experiences to the table. Among those members are people working on projects that include screen printing, textiles, high end speaker production, architectural design, metal fabrication, and even medical robotics engineering utilizing the features of the space and the support of its community.
