FAERBER—Exceptional gemstones and jewelry since 1968. Founded by Thomas Färber in 1968 in Zurich, today the Faerber Collection is world-renowned for unrivalled expertise in buying and selling rare gemstones, natural pearls, and exceptional antique and historic jewelry, dating from antiquity to the present day. In 1998, Thomas Färber was joined in the business by his children Ida and Max - the fourth generation of this family of expert jewelry merchants. They work closely together, along with co-directors, Alberto Corticelli and Philippe Atamian, to maximize their individual areas of knowledge, taste, skills and contacts, sharing and uniting Thomas’s single-minded mission, vision, and values. With offices in Geneva, New York, Paris, and Hong Kong, the Faerber team is able to conduct highly specialized and confidential transactions with dealers, private institutions, and museums across the globe. For 2021, the team decided to launch the Faerber LAB concept: a creative jewelry laboratory and atelier where innovative contemporary creations and limited-edition capsule collections are designed in-house or co-created with emerging talents and young designers, and manufactured to Faerber’s exacting standards of craftsmanship.
