faff is an early-stage consumer tech company based out of Bangalore. We started in September with the thesis that many working professionals in the next five years are going to have their own personal assistants. We offer personal assistants at an affordable price, where people can delegate a lot of their personal chores to us. We have an operations team that works on those tasks for people. We have a whole range of technology around those tasks and trying to make our assistants optimized. Since starting, we have raised a pre-seed round from the venture capital firm Entrepreneur First. We are seeing strong consumer traction and love, with currently about 150 active users who are saving several hours a week by using us. We are now growing 10% every week and looking to expand our team.
The co-founders are Anirudh and Het. Before faff, Anirudh graduated from IIT Bombay and studied Chemical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. He worked for a year at Facebook AI Research on AI projects. Before faff, he tried building something in fashion tech, e-commerce SaaS, and WhatsApp bots. Het is a 2023 graduate from IIT Delhi where he studied Electrical Engineering and Cognitive Systems. He tried building some products in EdTech before faff.
