About Fair Factory Development Fund
We are values-driven impact investors. We do our work based on the principle of stewardship and seek the same from our investors and companies. We invest in agrifood-processing companies in rural areas in Africa and Asia. Our goal is social impact: a better perspective for all stakeholders. First and foremost, the population, farmers and factory workers. We aim for modest financial returns for our investors. We believe that, as stewards, we are called to deal responsibly, equally and sustainably with what has been entrusted to us here on earth by God. Therefore, together with our investors and companies, we deliberately seek positive social impact. From our abundance here, we want to invest in abundance there. The money we invest, we invest mostly as shareholders. We stand side by side with the entrepreneur and influence the company's direction. We share in ups and downs. That fits well with who we are and how we want to do our work: not aloof but fully involved. We consider it essential that our values match those of the entrepreneur and fellow shareholders. Responsibility, equality and care for nature are our core values. We feel connected to and work with investors and companies who, out of stewardship, share these values. We have a unique partnership with development organisation Word and Deed. Together with its partners, Woord en Daad provides training and guidance to farmers and young people around the factory. Farmers learn to organise themselves and receive training in sustainable farming techniques. Young people receive vocational training so they have a better chance of getting a job at the factory. You can now invest in global food security. We are looking for values-driven investors who want to put their money to work for others. Investing is possible from €100,000.
