Fairfax Therapy Solutions was started by Deborah O'Brien LCSW in 2010. Fairfax Therapy Solutions is a psychotherapy/counseling practice working with children, adolescents, and adults. We assist our clients to become free from unproductive, repetitive patterns. Together, we work to improve relationships, to cope with stress, to heal from trauma, and to recover joy. Areas of expertise are ADHD, Anxiety, Parenting, Alcohol Abuse, Divorced families, and Couples Counseling.
The philosophy is based on the belief that psychotherapy can be an opportunity to learn about yourself. The outome is changing how we relate to ourselves and others, how we handle distressing situations, and how we move toward meaningful accomplishments that are in line with our deepest values. We have helped children, adolescents and adults break out of old, unsatisfying ways of being and develop a changed path in the life journey.
