French Alps International Softlandings Exchange (FAISE) is a collaborative ecosystem-to-ecosystem project whose goal is to support the internationalization of innovative startups.
The project is financed by the French Government through its initiative “La French Tech”. It is coordinated by a local consortium including: Invest in Grenoble Alpes, French Tech in the Alps and Tarmac incubator. Our foreign partners are Empowered Startups and French Tech Taiwan.
OBJECTIVES: Support the international development of local startups in each ecosystem, by giving global entrepreneurs all the necessary information to choose the right site for their international landing.
It also aims at increasing the visibility of "secondary" ecosystems, which are not as well-known as destinations such as Silicon Valley, Boston, Paris or Shanghai, which may not be the right fit for all of the projects.
ACTIONS: Each ecosystem will issue a call for interest to prospective candidates, then select the most mature projects to come over and attend dedicated bootcamps providing critical business intelligence and contacts needed before choosing to create a presence abroad.
