FaithWay Baptist Church was founded in 1974 in Whitby, Ontario with a simple vision: to reach people with the Gospel and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. What began as a small gathering in a local public school has grown into a dynamic church family with a strong commitment to biblical teaching, community outreach, and global missions. In 1983, FaithWay Baptist College of Canada was established to train future Christian leaders. Since then, graduates have gone on to serve in ministries across Canada and around the world—planting churches, teaching in Christian schools, and more. FaithWay is well-known throughout the Durham region for its long-standing bus ministry, which has brought children to Sunday School for over three decades. The church also supports a robust missions program, currently partnering with nearly 175 missionaries and ministries globally. Over the years, God has allowed FaithWay to expand its 6-acre campus to include FaithWay Baptist College, FaithWay Baptist School, and other vital ministry facilities. At FaithWay, we believe that God’s Word provides the foundation for life and that He has a unique purpose for every individual. Our ministries are centered around the preaching and teaching of the Bible, and we strive to serve every age group with care and excellence.
