In the production, storage and transport of foodstuffs, industry-specific hygiene concepts are required to ensure that the legal regulations of the Food Hygiene Ordinance (LMHV) are consistently implemented. Against this background, FAKOLITH specialises in the development of paints and coatings that meet the legal requirements, but also the specific requirements, for use in production, refrigeration and storage areas in the food industry. The focus of research and development is on coatings that are certified in accordance with the European regulations VO (EC) 1935/2004, VO EU (10/2011) and VO (EU) 2018/2013 as well as the international standard FDA 21 CFR 175.300 for direct contact with food.
