It is in the Médoc that the roots of the Cazes family lie: Chateau Lynch-Bages and Chateau Ormes de Pez were the first estates acquired by Jean-Charles Cazes in the late 1930s. In 2017, we were thrilled to announce the acquisition of Chateau Haut-Batailley in Pauillac. Our family group today encompasses: - A collection of acclaimed wine estates including Chateau Lynch-Bages and Chateau Haut Batailley (Pauillac), Chateau Ormes de Pez (Saint Estephe), Domaine de L'Ostal (Languedoc), Domaine des Sénéchaux (Chateauneuf du Pape) and Xisto and Roquette & Cazes (Douro, Portugal). - A wine merchant company, JM CAZES SELECTION - A branch dedicated to hospitality, gastronomy and wine experiences with Château Cordeillan-Bages (****hotel and one Michelin star restaurant), VINIV and the village of Bages. An idea that is at the cornerstone of French tradition is that great wine is inseparable from great food... At Chateau Cordeillan-Bages, and Café Lavinal in the village of Bages, we strive to bring you the best of French gastronomy. Exclusive experiences related to the art and science of winemaking are offered at the members of VINIV who have the opportunity to design and bottle their own barrel of wine.
