Fangirl Central

Fangirl Central is a media company co-founded by writers, filmmakers, and sister comedy duo Amanda & Amber Miller. Their short film THE DAY I DIDN’T MEET ONE DIRECTION (2022) was the genesis of the company, which they created to center Black & queer passion and fandom. After a podcast, an original musical revue inspired by Disney Channel, a Twilight game show, and a One Direction drag show, they now host events in LA with the dedicated purpose of bringing together passionate communities of marginalized and underrepresented fans and artists. Fangirl Central has been featured in Vulture Magazine, Polyester Zine, Deadline, and a Paramount+ original documentary. Amanda & Amber continue to develop and produce original film & TV projects, while consulting with production companies, studios, and creators to build organic fandoms using research and firsthand experience to amplify Black, queer, femme audiences.
