Fans of Valley Field

MISSION Fans of Valley Field exists to preserve the heritage and promote the usage of Sullivan (Valley) Field. We intend to collect historical memorabilia including but not limited to newspaper clippings, photos, interviews, etc. and use this information to educate and motivate residents to care for, maintain and use the park. Promoting the park will include working with the City of Grand Rapids, the owner of the field, to increase usage by offering clinics, special events, tours, tournaments and other activities. We intend to raise funds to help the City of Grand Rapids create an atmosphere of neighborhood pride by restoring the park to its former grandeur.
