Fara Coffee is a true farm-to-market coffee roaster based here in Austin, Texas. Maria, our owner, is a fifth-generation coffee farmer who directly imports her coffee from Nicaragua to Austin, where we roast. The coffee is Rainforest Alliance Certified, shade grown, and exceptionally smooth. Proceeds from Fara Coffee sales help fund the works of the Fara Foundation, a non-profit who runs a clinic in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. The Foundation also funds a food assistance program, an elderly care facility, and local schools. The mission of Fara Coffee is to provide the best coffee possible while taking exceptional care of the local community as well.
