Farid is the first EdTech platform in MENA focused on character building and mental health support for children and youth aged 5 to 18. The platform offers personalized sessions and training for certified educators across the MENA region. It aims to reach 20,000 new subscribers over the next two years and train 10,000 graduates to become certified trainers by 2030, with plans for regional expansion in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE. Farid was selected among the top 100 startups at the LEAP2024 conference, held in Riyadh in March 2024. Founded by The Egyptian Entrepreneur Mahmoud Hussein in 2024, who has extensive experience in character education and personal development, the platform has distinguished itself by offering innovative educational solutions to improve children’s well-being and enhance their personal skills. Farid provides direct, one-on-one sessions for character building and mental health support for Arab children aged 3 to 18 years. Additionally, it offers training for youth and graduates to become certified trainers in Farid’s educational and psychological methodology. The platform’s goals include expanding its reach in more schools and educational institutions in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE, as well as developing new workshops and curricula to enhance children’s personal skills, nurture their talents, and support their mental health, preparing them for future challenges.
