We implement space efficient & cost effective vertical indoor farm solutions. Our Key Innovation Drivers AUTOMATION Problem: Vegetable farming is an extremely labor intensive process in the traditional, but also vertical farming. Industry 4.0 is offering the smart technology to connect individual processing bits into fully automated plant production lines. Flanet has developed a patented, fully automated vertical farm and downsizes the labor demand to 10 hours per week per farm. Flanet´s fully automated vertical indoor farm will be profitable within 7 months of operations. SPACE EFFICIENCY Problem: Agriculture is competing with nature conservation, climate change, biofuels, animal feed and urbanization. Flanet farms up vertical to triple digit layers of veggies, 10 x more efficient than any other vertical indoor farm. Flanet needs less than 1% the space of traditional farms and produces farm fresh in urban centers. UNIVERSAL Problem: vertical farms are inflexible to adjust for different vegetables needs. Flanet has developed a modular system that allows for different plant sizes and nutritional needs. SCALABILITY Problem: vertical farms are currently developed on a costly project by project basis Flanet´s fully automated vertical farms are prefabricated and only require water & electricity supply and road access. The set-up costs are reduced while the speed at which new farms are built is increased.
