Faroe Maritime Services is built on a strong foundation of maritime knowledge and generations of maritime experience both from commercial shipping and the fishing industry. Faroe Maritime Services is approved by Fonsba as ship agents & and as ship brokers and our practical working approach is built into our ISO systems, that is approved by Bureau Veritas. We do have strong and reliable network of competent and skilled suppliers. It means that we can anticipate, plan, and carry out, our customers' needs and meet their expectations, both when our customers choose to call a Faroese port and/or when our team members travel abroad to perform different assignments such as Pre-Purchase Inspection & Condition Survey, dry docking, re-classing, HazMat inspections or Marine Damage & Accident Survey. Faroe Maritime Services is approved as a Seafares Manning Office signifying that it allows us not only to recruit qualified seafarers for ship owners but also the ability that we can assemble our maritime teams with special knowledge for the exact assignments that our clients need. Assignments such as: bringing a vessel to the dry docking, having the necessary experience to oversee all the various upgrades, and taking into account re-classing of the vessel. In some cases, assembling an entire crew, covering the many different skills needed to reactivate a vessel, after a longer period in layup condition getting all equipment, documents, etc. All adding up to a successful sea trial. Trust, knowledge, and flexibility are the principles on which Faroe Maritime Services is built. We are based in the Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic and Arctic regions. From the Faroes, we do have daily flight connections to most European international airports. This gives us a great advantage to deliver our service not only in all Faroese ports but also to relocate to other ports around the world where our services are needed.
