In 1956 Farotto’s began as a family owned pizzeria with a few pastas, limited seating, carry out and car-hop service. In 1960 I began my career at 11 years old, working for my sister and brother-in-law, Lou and Betty Farotto, as a busboy. As time went on, I worked my way up the ladder. Immediately after High School, I became an owner. What I’ve discovered along the way is that what people really want from a restaurant is high quality food, the best service and fair prices. It has been a lesson well learned. After Lou’s retirement in the early 80’s, I became the sole proprietor.
As our business grew, we decided that in order to meet customer demand, expansion was in order. In 1990, we added a dining room to the rear of our restaurant. Then in 1994, what was at one time a bakery, doughnut shop, and then Rock Hill Auto Parts, became the east side of our building. It is now a year round patio, dining room, and intimate banquet area. After a fire in 2001, we renovated the dining rooms and added a sit-down bar. In 2004, we expanded & opened a multi-concept restaurant in Chesterfield Valley. Villa Farotto offers you the Farotto traditions of old along with an upscale flair. In 2006 with many of our great friends and clients we celebrated our 50th Anniversary, we cannot thank you enough!
