Are you Forgetful; Achieving below your full potential; Stuck in a rut; Time challenged; Motivationally challenged; Impulsive; Novelty seeking; Distractible; Scattered? Then you may have ADHD!   Our support group aims to empower our Members* to improve the quality of their lives, by sharing lived experiences, best practices (including talks from experts and specialists in topics related to ADHD) and hints and tips amongst the group; acting as advocates for Members attending appointments that may otherwise be too overwhelming for them; offering help and advice with applications and forms; signposting folks to services that could be beneficial to them. We also offer insightful talks to medical professionals, local community groups, media/press, etc. to raise awareness of ADHD and the challenges faced by people with this life-long neurological condition. Plus, we're a very creative bunch, and are well-known for our annual Neurodiverse Arts Festivals, paintings and cards (on sale via our website)! During the COVID-19 crisis we meet virtually (via Zoom) - weekly at 11am on Thursdays, and at 7.30pm on the 4th Monday of the month. Once “normality” has been restored, we hope to resume regular meetings at Kingston Quaker Centre every Thursday from 10.30am – 12.30pm, and every 4th Monday of the month 7.30-9.30pm. *Membership Terms & Conditions apply
