FatSAM

FatSAM - Twinning for Excellence in TUBITAK on the Fatigue Simulation of Additive Manufactured Parts is a #HorizonEU project funded under the HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-02-01 Twinning call (Grant Agreement No: 101159809). The main objective of the FatSAM project is to enhance the simulation expertise of TUBITAK (Turkiye) in two key areas: nonlinear simulation of the additive manufacturing (AM) process and nonlinear simulation of the AM parts behaviour under cyclic loads, also referred to as their #fatigue behaviour. This objective will be achieved by collaborating with #the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (Spain) with respect to the #fatigue modelling and with #Lulea University of Technology (Sweden) on the #AM process simulation. The project research workflow will be supported by #Twinning initiatives, which are designed to raise the scientific profile of the TUBITAK team and strengthen their administrative capabilities.
