In our East London studio we spin, dye and weave by hand our own fabrics. Specializing in the reproduction of iconic pieces, the kind everyone has or has had in their wardrobe at one stage Founded in 2013 the Faustine Steinmetz fashion label has been recognized by numerous professional organizations; in 2015, it was one of the seven finalist at the prestigious LVMH Prize and was also nominated for Emerging Womenswear Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards. It was also selected by Selfridges, in collaboration with the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, as part of the “Bright New Things” scheme, an initiative to promote innovative and sustainably minded approaches to design Steinmetz has also received sponsorships from the British Fashion Councils NEWGEN initiative, Cotton USA and the Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE) Faustine Steinmetz currently shows in schedule at London Fashion Week
