The Foundation for Diversity and Inclusion in Sport (FDIS), established in 2018 by Founding President Benjamin Pereira, is a student organization at Florida State University that embraces students of diverse backgrounds seeking to further their professional and personal development within a sport-oriented environment. FDIS's focus is to create innovative, thought provoking events and initiatives and to serve as a forum for discussion on a wide range of topics that encompass the broad diversity and inclusion spectra. In addition, their goal is to foster self-confidence, produce long-lasting personal networks, and above all, to use the power of sport to enact change.
