FE HR Hub

The FE HR Hub has been set up to help us all meet the shared challenge of supporting and building excellence across the FE sector in the work we do as HR professionals. It aims to foster a supportive, inquisitive professional community through sharing expertise, resources and learning whilst promoting a culture of mutual support and encouragement. We aim to create connections and networks beyond current regional structures and help connect professionals across all four devolved nations. Whilst we have different funding bodies, qualifications and inspectorates we fundamentally share similar challenges including tight budgets and large workloads and we are united in our common purpose to deliver excellence in our institutions. Working smarter, not harder, is the way forward. FE HR Hub is inclusive aiming to connect all levels of HR professionals working in the sector from experienced senior leaders to those who are just starting out in their HR career. FE HR Hub is open to HR professionals working in different types of FE institutions, such as FE Colleges, Technical Institutes, Specialist and National Colleges, Sixth Form Colleges and Adult Community Education organisations. We recognise the breadth of HR activity and as such we also welcome practitioners whose roles focus on specific related agendas, such as Diversity and Inclusion, Well-being, OD and L&D. We welcome diversity across our membership.
