In 2012 Febrik was founded by Renee Merckx and Jos Pelders with the ambition to introduce the world to a new generation of upholstery textiles by reimagining traditional knitting techniques.
In 2018 Febrik became part of Kvadrat turning the brand name into Kvadrat Febrik and becoming Kvadrat's brand for knitted upholstery.
