Feder Aerospace makes a flight management infrastructure that can be integrated with existing control systems and that eliminates the usual decision-tree and inter-module-communication nightmares that come with implementing autonomous hazard-avoidance and contingency behaviors. Our architecture requires an onboard processor running Linux, but is otherwise hardware- and airframe-agnostic. And by design it can run in a distributed way on multiple aircraft at once for mission coordination and collision avoidance.
