Federconsumatori Lazio

Federconsumatori Lazio is a non-profit social promotion body whose priority objectives are information and consumer protection. The Association was established in 1988, with the aim of giving strength to the activities of Federconsumatori in the region, thus ensuring specific interventions and proximity to the problems of consumers and citizens of Lazio. Federconsumatori Lazio works to protect consumers in full autonomy from businesses, political parties, the government and trade unions. It is present in all the provinces of Lazio with 52 information and advice counters, and makes use of the collaboration of 70 consultants, and about 20 volunteers. At 31 December 2017, the number of Federconsumatori Lazio members amounted to 3778. Federconsumatori Lazio pursues, through the voluntary commitment of its members, social promotion activities through support, training, information, advice, assistance and protection of all citizens in the their quality as consumers, savers and users, promoting the legality of the market, the protection of health, the safety and quality of products and services, the right to correct and adequate information, the fairness and clarity of advertising, provision of public interest services according to quality and efficiency standards, the defense of economic and patrimonial interests, the protection of savings and the fight against usury in the context of current legislation.
