From 2011 to 2016, FEED operated as a dedicated platform for the direct experience of new media and audiovisual performances in Berlin. During this time FEED became an advocate for the quality standards of artists in Berlin's small venues with an emphasis on sound and acoustics. Through collaborative efforts with local talent, architects, and institutions bearing knowledge of sound and music technology, FEED created a listening environment, resulting in a "soundspace" offering a stage for those looking to demonstrate their work in an environment for artistic content to transcend the character of the artist or the space itself. The future of FEED and it's members are dedicated to further development of this concept. The height of this program was demonstrated with an acclaimed series of performances at KW Institute for Contemporary Art's space for collaboration. Moreover, the conclusion of FEED and resulting projects of its members will be independently available through a forthcoming initiative, bringing premium quality immersive arts to audiences in Berlin and beyond.
