CREATING COMMUNITIES THROUGH TRANSFORMATIVE THEATRE PRACTICE
Feedback Theatre is a process-led collective of theatre, movement and research artists dedicated to socially engaged creative practice.
We value the process of making work and the evaluation of our methodologies as equal to the products we create.
We see performance as a space for dialogue and intentionally construct our work to allow this.
We believe that participation in the creative process can foster wellbeing and bring about individual and social change.
We are committed to exploring ethical ways of creating work that connects, activates and empowers everyone involved.
We do this by:
- working collaboratively with artists, academics and human rights and women rights organisations
- creating projects that engage diverse communities in devising their own responses to what matters to them. In particular we work with young people, women, survivors and displaced communities to tackle isolation, discrimination and menstrual stigma.
