Feeding Souls

Who are we? Feeding Souls is a group that was founded in 2012. It is run by volunteers willing to help Costa Rica's community, mainly its homeless people as well as the less fortunate. Our Vision: We want to become a nationally recognized foundation by 2015, and we want o have more events throughout the country as well as a more diverse volunteer group. Our hope is to have a larger impact on Costa Rica. We want to be 100% dedicated to Costa Rica's homeless and less fortunate, not just those who live in Escazu, San Jose. Our History: Feeding Souls was created after its founders empathized with a homeless woman called Lorena. She inspired Amparo Velez and Valerie Echavarria to feed all those who need it in the area. Seeing Lorena struggle on a day-to-day basis to fulfill her most basic needs made the founders realize that they were able to help her situation.
