The company was driven by a desire to address the land and resource scarcity involved in the production of food products, by the automated vertical culturing of micro-organisms. We have applied the most advanced engineering techniques of design, machine learning, IOT (internet of things) etc for the same.
We are involved in the production of highly protein rich additives for food processing companies and oil products, which can perfectly replace fish and plant derived oils used for food processing, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and other applications. Insect oil is a highly sustainable alternative to conventional feed oil sources like Palm Oil, Fish Oil, & Krill Oil. Inclusion of insect products in Poultry feeds leads to better Egg & Meat quality, higher productivity, better immunity, and enhanced welfare for commercially farmed birds. Hypoallergenic properties & natural bio-availability of anti-microbial supplements, cartilage & bone growth promoters lead to superior health for Dogs & Cats. Frass which is a by-product, is a natural fertiliser and amendment for the soil, thereby supporting agriculture and gardening.
The company is incorporated under Kerala startup mission, backed up by IIM Bangalore and KVASU-Kerala (veterinary university) and was recognised as best business idea with a seed grant of ₹100,000 in FY22.
