What do teams need to execute well?
What has worked for me and my clientes its to aproach them in three levels:
1. Personally: each team member must add value to the opperation and should be prepared to do so, not just technically but as a leader.
2. Relationship: they way they all interact to achieve the goals, how they interact, who is responsible for what dictates the team's productivity. This is usually known as processes. The business and operation processess must be understood and optimized, and everybody should be doing something to improve it, ALL THE TIME!
3. Business Model: The way the company does business, the way the model is designed bust be aligned with the business aspirations and personal aspirations, with the strategy and with the short and long-term goals. All the team must be aligned. Like in a rowing boat, if one is not aaligned, they will not get to their productivity goals.
I am able to work on the three levels, to ensure, not only that there is a personal, relationship, processes, strategy and business model change, but to ensure that all changes are made towards improving results.
Each company and each team has different needs and situations, so each project is designed accordingly after I have inmersed and understood what is going on, what is needed and what the team is great at.
