About Felix Burda Stiftung
Die Felix Burda Stiftung mit Sitz in München wurde 2001 von Dr. Christa Maar und Verleger Prof. Dr. Hubert Burda gegründet und trägt den Namen ihres in diesem Jahr an Darmkrebs verstorbenen Sohnes. Zu den Projekten der Stiftung zählen u.a. der bundesweite Darmkrebsmonat März sowie der Felix Burda Award, mit dem herausragendes Engagement im Bereich der Darmkrebsvorsorge geehrt wird. Zudem tourt das größte begehbare Darmmodell Europas - ebenfalls eine Idee der Stiftung - kontinuierlich durch Europa und die APPzumARZT managed als Gesundheits-Butler gesetzliche Präventionsleistungen der ganzen Familie. Die Felix Burda Stiftung betreibt Websites und Social Media-Präsenzen und generiert mit jährlichen, konzertierten Werbekampagnen in Print, TV, Radio und Online eine starke deutschlandweite Awareness für die Prävention von Darmkrebs.
